On the guided tour of the Mosque of Cordoba and Alcázar you will discover two of the most representative monuments of a unique city in the world, a World Heritage Site.
The Mosque-Cathedral is considered one of the most important monuments in the world, a faithful mirror of a city with more than two thousand years of history.
The Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, a historic fortress and home of the Catholic Monarchs, is a must-see for those who wish to learn about the period of the Christian Reconquest.
What does the visit consist of?
You will first take a guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral, which will last approximately 1.5 hours. Afterwards we will have a short break and then start the second part of the visit in the Alcazar. We recommend you to read carefully the voucher that you will download after booking.

Frequently asked questions
This is important regarding the Mosque–Cathedral, which is part of the tour. Men are not allowed to enter with their heads covered; for women, it is not an issue. In general, the temple asks that we avoid clothing that is not appropriate for a cathedral.
In that case, the customer must pay for their own ticket; the ticket previously paid through the guide is not valid because the monument follows strict entry times. For this reason, it is essential to arrive 10–15 minutes early.
Inside the temple, eating and drinking are not allowed. However, carrying water is not a problem.
There are no restrictions regarding photos.
Due to the temple’s regulations, the group must remain with the guide. Depending on the circumstances, there may occasionally be some free time to explore the monument on your own. But in general, the guide must always accompany the group.
The visit to the tower is not included; it is done independently by paying the fee set by the Cathedral Chapter.
That doesn’t depend on us; it depends on the monument’s management. Normally there is no priority access, so having a guided tour does not mean skipping the line.
In the Mosque, there is not a lot of walking. Additionally, if needed, the monument itself has wheelchairs available, and the guide will request one when necessary.
Regarding the Alcázar, a wheelchair is not feasible. The Alcázar is not currently adapted for a comfortable visit, as there are many stairs. If you have difficulty walking, the visit is possible, but it ultimately depends on your own judgment.
