The guided tour to the Mosque of Cordoba and the Jewish Quarter is the ideal option for those who want to visit the essential, or for those who do not have much time in their visit to our city.
At the beginning of the tour we will enter directly into the Mosque-Cathedral, the most important and representative monument of Cordoba, witness of great historical events, and catalogued ad a world heritage site by UNESCO.
Later we will through the white and winding streets of the Jewish quarter of Cordoba, where we will pay special attention to the Synagogue (the Jewish temple), the monument dedicated to Maimonides or the Artisans’ Souk.

The visit lasts approximately 2 hours and twenty minutes, but it varies from day to day, especially regarding the Jewish Quarter.
In this case, the general rule of the monument is that the guide must always accompany the group. Additionally, the guide cannot collect the audio devices from clients inside the monument. Whenever possible, we try to allow visitors a few minutes inside the monument, but this does not depend on us. Nevertheless, the guided tour covers the entire monument and provides a complete understanding of the building’s history.

In general, there is no problem. The Jewish Quarter can be a bit uncomfortable, though still manageable. As for the Mosque–Cathedral, the monument has wheelchairs available, so if needed, the guide will provide one for you.
This is important regarding the Mosque–Cathedral, which is part of the tour. Mainly, men cannot enter with their heads covered; for women, this is not an issue. In general, the temple asks us to avoid clothing that is not appropriate for a cathedral.
Inside the temple, you cannot eat or drink. However, carrying water is not a problem.
The visit to the tower is not included; it is done independently by paying the fee set by the Chapter.
If you book a guided tour, the company handles the tickets directly. If you have already purchased the tickets beforehand, you only need to pay for the guided tour.
