Enjoy a night tour of the Alcázar of Córdoba, where history is illuminated by the spectacular “Navegantes” (Voyagers) show by Naturaleza Encendida. Alongside our expert historian guides, you will journey through the fortress under a unique light, discovering how art and technology pay tribute to the great maritime expeditions that changed the world.
In this voyage, the Alcázar becomes the port of departure for the New World. We will explore the deep connection between the Catholic Monarchs and these overseas adventures through immersive projections, allowing you to relive the past in a visual and moving way, sheltered by the silence of the Cordoban night.

We will stroll through the gardens, now transformed into an ocean of lights where the flora and water narrate the odysseys of legendary explorers. This experience blends the historical rigor of our storytelling with an unforgettable, dreamlike atmosphere, creating a unique sensory journey in the heart of Córdoba.
Córdoba: Where it all began
Although the caravels set sail from Huelva, the true seed of the Discovery was planted in Córdoba. Between 1482 and 1488, this Alcázar served as the provisional court of the Catholic Monarchs. This very setting witnessed not only the planning of the final stages of the Reconquista but also pivotal milestones: from the birth of Infanta Maria, future Queen of Portugal, to the captivity of Boabdil after his defeat in Lucena.
Accompanied by our historian guides, we will relive the years when Christopher Columbus resided in Córdoba awaiting a royal audience. We will discover his hardships selling maps in the streets, his relationship with Beatriz Enríquez de Arana, and how, ultimately, Queen Isabella’s support beneath these skies allowed the world to become much larger on October 12, 1492.
A historical journey between gardens and stars
Our route offers a profound historical introduction, taking advantage of the magical night atmosphere to narrate the decisive encounters between the Crown and the navigator. A journey that connects the capture of the Calahorra and the Granada War with the expeditions to the Indies and the secrets of Columbus’s first logbook.

No, these specific areas remain closed during night hours. However, in our experience, this does not diminish the visit at all. In fact, with the Naturaleza Encendida light and sound show, the experience is highly recommended and truly magical.

¡Gracias por visitarnos! Esperamos que guardes un bonito recuerdo de tu visita a la Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba.
Today, my family visited these places with the excellent guidance from Saray and Emilio who explained a lot of things, made the tour informative and funny! It is worthy to use the Artencordoba service!
